A popular cat Instagram account is involved in planning a local protest on July 22 as Vice President JD Vance is set to attend a Nantucket fundraiser.

Chanting demonstrators carrying signs gathered along the road outside the fundraiser where Vance was scheduled to headline Tuesday.

Vice President JD Vance, on his way to a fundraiser organized by the Republican National Committee at a Nantucket home Tuesday, was met by protesters.
