Reese returns to the PMAC just two years after leading LSU to the 2023 NCAA title under Mulkey’s tutelage. She was a two‑time All‑American who averaged 18.6 points and 13.4 rebounds as a senior. Reese averaged 14.4 rebounds per game during her two years with the Tigers, the most in SEC history.

Ahead of her return to Baton Rouge, Reese credited coach Kim Mulkey for toughening her up and said, "My life just changed," after winning a national championship there in 2023.
