DENVER — The Colorado Avalanche defeated the Dallas Stars Saturday night to tie up their first-round playoff series. The Avalanche shut out the Stars 4-0 to tie the best-of-seven series at two games apiece. Game 5 will be played in Dallas on Monday night.

Colorado Avalanche captain Gabriel Landeskog's first goal in nearly three years brought Ball Arena to its feet Saturday night. Landeskog snapped a quick shot past netminder Jake Oettinger to give the Colorado Avalanche a 3-0 lead in Game 4 against the Dallas Stars midway through the second period.
