New York Giants third-round pick Darius Alexander has undoubtedly had a different path to the NFL than many players. He spent six years at Toledo, an FBS school. He played defense, then offense, then finally switched back to the defensive line.

The Giants have needed to find a running mate for nose tackle Dexter Lawrence on the interior. They may have found one in Alexander.
