PITTSBURGH -- Pittsburgh Steelers star defensive lineman Cam Heyward returned to practice on Tuesday, ending a hold-in that had carried on over the last few weeks as he looks to renew his contract.

According to head coach Mike Tomlin, Heyward even partook in team activities, which is a great sign that he will be on the field when the team takes on the New York Jets in Week One of the regular season.

Steelers DL Cameron Heyward was back in uniform and participating in practice on Tuesday, per Brooke Pryor, despite sources telling her nothing has changed with his contract dispute. Pryor says Heyward is still pushing for a raise in 2025 with two more years remaining on his contract.
