U.S., Russian and Ukrainian negotiators are meeting in the United Arab Emirates, but Russia continues to pummel Ukraine and has not softened demands that Kyiv calls unacceptable.

ROUTH SENTENCING: Ryan Routh will be back in federal court today for his sentencing after he was found guilty last year of attempting to assassinate then-presidential candidate Donald Trump in September 2024. Prosecutors are seeking a life sentence for Routh.
