VShojo, the VTuber agency that billed itself as “talent first,” is shutting down. VShojo CEO Justin “Gunrun” Ignacio made the announcement today on X, writing, “I take full responsibility for the decisions that led us to this point.”

After the departure of high-profile creators and allegations of owed and misused funds, VShojo is closing its doors.

VTuber Ironmouse left VShojo because she wasn’t paid what she was owed, and because the agency did not pay up the donations amassed for the recent Immune Deficiency Foundation. Ironmouse came out unscathed.
