Chicago Police are looking for a suspect in a May 2023 Near South Side fatal shooting and are seeking public assistance, providing a suspect description and safety advice.

A man was stabbed to death at a downtown CTA train station early Saturday morning, Chicago police said. Police said officers responded to an emergency medical services call at the Loop station at Clark and Lake streets just before 2:30 a.m.

Police said officers responded to a report of a person shot and found a man on the ground with a gunshot wound to the neck. He was treated at the scene by Chicago Fire Department paramedics and then taken to Christ Hospital in serious condition. It remains unclear what led up to the shooting.
