It has been 50 years since the first known victim of the Oakland County Child Killer was abducted and murdered.

Kevin Maurice Farries Jr. faces multiple charges, including felony murder, for a fatal carjacking in Detroit. He was denied bond and could face life in prison.

In total, the 42-year-old man pleaded guilty in six cases involving the sexual assault of four minors, including one child as young as four-years-old.
