(Atlanta News First) — A significant winter ice storm is expected to impact north Georgia and metro Atlanta this weekend, bringing dangerous travel conditions and widespread power outages. The Winter Storm Watch was extended to include most of north Georgia, with the watch in effect from 1 a.m. Saturday through 10 a.m. Monday.
