Chock and Bates held a commanding lead after the rhythm dance where they were awarded a season's-best 91.70 points. Zingas and Kolesnik (85.98) were second after the rhythm dance and followed closely by Carreira and Ponomarenko (83.29).
Bay Shore siblings Oona and Gage Brown earned a score of 194.31 for sixth place in ice dance at the U.S. Figure Skating Championships on Saturday night in St. Louis. Three ice dance pairs will be selected to Team USA for the Milan Cortina Olympics in February. The final team lineup will be announced at 2 p.m. Sunday.
