Brian Cox finally put an end to the debate over whether us humans actually landed on the moon. I know, I know, you might have thought that was pretty obvious, but there are plenty of people out there who don’t believe the Moon landings were real.

It's largely agreed that the moon was created around 4.5 billion years ago when a protoplanet collided with early molten Earth, smashing off a chunk large enough to form the moon. This Mars-sized protoplanet is often called Theia.
