CINCINNATI (WXIX) -Several flights to and from CVG have been canceled or delayed Saturday as a result of longest government shutdown in U.S. history. The canceled flights on Nov. 8 are on Delta, American, and United airlines.
The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) said on Wednesday it will scale back air traffic by 10 percent at 40 major U.S. airports as the government shutdown continues.

Overall, United has canceled more than 100 flights each day, from Friday, Nov. 7 through Sunday, Nov. 9, the airline's website showed. Of those, 34 United flights scheduled to depart or arrive at Chicago O'Hare International Airport Friday were cut, with that number increasing to 38 Saturday.
More than a dozen flights were canceled at Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky International Airport on Friday due to a government shutdown. The FAA plans to cut flight capacity by up to 10% at 40 major airports to relieve pressure on overworked controllers.
