Detroit Lions quarterback Jared Goff and his wife, Christen Harper, exclusively told PEOPLE at the Thursday, Feb. 6 NFL Honors that they are expecting their first child together later this year!

“Congratulations to Christen and Jared Goff, who will welcome their first baby this offseason! Christen and Jared are here on the red carpet for NFL Honors, where Jared is nominated for MVP and Man of the Year,” Darlington wrote. “An exciting time for two amazing people who will make such great parents.”

Christen Goff is “so excited” about her Sports Illustrated Swimsuit return. Taking to Instagram on Monday, the 31-year-old model and wife of Lions quarterback Jared Goff celebrated a newly released look from her upcoming spread in the 2025 issue, which was shot at the Round Hill Hotel & Villas in Jamaica.

Ahead of the Pro Bowl, Goff's wife, Christen Goff, shared her gameday outfit of choice with an Instagram Story. The swimsuit model was donning a fitted black cropped t-shirt and high-waisted, wide-leg blue jeans. She accessorized with gold rings, a bracelet, and a small denim handbag.

Goff, a finalist for NFL MVP this season, said that he’s “always dreamt” of becoming a father: “I know it’ll add a new perspective to life, and it’ll be great.”
