Former LSU star Angel Reese’s homecoming in the Sky’s WNBA exhibition opener over the Brazilian national team was a smashing success.

"It has been great to have Sloot back," Reese said of Vandersloot, who started her career with the Sky in 2011 and played for the team until 2023. Vandersloot also won the WNBA championship with Chicago in 2021.

Making the game even more memorable, both Angel Reese and Hailey Van Lith impressed in the Sky's 89-62 win over Brazil. Reese finished with 15 points and 10 rebounds, while Van Lith tallied seven points and five assists in 13 minutes of action.
