LAS VEGAS -- Jaden Henley's 23 points helped UNLV defeat Nevada 68-55 on Friday. Henley added eight rebounds for the Rebels (16-13, 10-8 Mountain West Conference). Jalen Hill scored 16 points and added eight rebounds. Julian Rishwain had 11 points and shot 3 for 8 (2 for 6 from 3-point range) and 3 of 3 from the free-throw line.

The Runnin' Rebels host their in-state rival, Nevada Wolf Pack, on Friday night in a Mountain West Conference battle.

LAS VEGAS, Nev. (KOLO) - The Nevada men’s basketball team will travel to Las Vegas on Friday to take on long-time rival UNLV. The game will be on Feb. 28 at 8:00 p.m. and will be broadcast on FS1. Nevada is coming off an 84-61 win over Wyoming on Tuesday. They are 16-12 on the season and are 7th in the Mountain West Conference.

The problems that have plagued Nevada much of the season cropped up again on Friday, poor rebounding and free throw shooting, and UNLV won the in-state rivalry game. Jaden Henley scored 23 points for UNLV as the Rebels took an 68-56 win over Nevada at Thomas & Mack Center in Las Vegas.
