Viktor Hovland found a swing that worked when it mattered the most. Hovland won the Valspar Championship with three birdies down the toughest stretch at Innisbrook.

Hovland beat Justin Thomas by a shot Sunday at Innisbrook despite a golf swing that still isn't what it used to be and a self-belief that was in shambles.

The Valspar Championship title gave Viktor Hovland the seventh victory of his PGA Tour career and more than $1.5 million as the winner's check.
