"Winds are decreasing across the area and the Wind Advisory will be allowed to expire," states the NWS Las Vegas NV.

On Monday at 1:37 p.m. a wind advisory was issued by the NWS Fort Worth TX valid from 11 p.m. until Tuesday 9 p.m. The advisory is for Wise, Denton, Collin, Parker, Tarrant, Dallas, Hood, Johnson, Montague,

"The potential for widespread 45 to 50 mph winds has diminished, therefore the wind advisory will be allowed to expire. However, the chance for 30 to 40 mph winds with the occasional 45 mph wind will continue for the next few hours," according to the National Weather Service.

The NWS Los Angeles/Oxnard CA issued a wind advisory at 5:48 a.m. on Monday in effect until 9 p.m. for Santa Clarita Valley and Western San Fernando Valley.
