A group of European dignitaries is set to arrive at the White House on Monday. They will show support for Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky in his bilateral meeting with President Donald Trump. Zelensky’s meeting comes three days after Russian President Vladimir Putin met with Trump in Alaska about ending the war in Ukraine.

A senior Iranian political official told state media that an IDF strike on an Iranian national security council meeting was an attempt on Pezeshkian's life. Israel tried to assassinate Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian during the 12-day war in June, according to Mohsen Haji-Mirzaei, Pezeshkian’s chief of staff.

Trump will meet the Ukrainian leader, along with several European heads of state and the NATO Secretary-General, on Monday.

Trump holds calls with Nato leaders and Zelensky, after telling journalists "we didn't get there" on an agreement on the war in Ukraine.
