Man of Tomorrow has officially cast its Green Lantern. Aaron Pierre, a British actor known for his roles as Malcolm X in the Genius anthology series, Brendan in M. Night

James Gunn's Man of Tomorrow is shaping up to have even more DC heroes in the mix as Aaron Pierre has signed on to the Superman sequel, following his leading role as Green Lantern John Stewart in the upcoming Lanterns streaming show.

In brightest day, in blackest night, Aaron Pierre will face the Man of Steel’s might. Gunn wrote the script and is directing Man of Tomorrow, which is due to begin production this summer in Atlanta. David Corenswet is back as Superman and Nicholas Hoult returns as Lex Luthor in a story that sees the two team up to fight the technological alien threat known as Brainiac.

Man of Tomorrow will also bring back Superman stars Rachel Brosnahan (Lois Lane) Skyler Gisondo (Jimmy Olsen), Sara Sampaio (Eve Teschmacher), Isabela Merced (Hawkgirl), and Maria Gabriella de Faria (The Engineer).

This is an interesting development for the Green Lantern Corps of the DC Universe, as you'll notice that one name not included in the Man of Tomorrow cast yet is Nathan Fillion, who memorably played Guy Gardner in Superman.
