As election day draws attention to political races across the nation today, there are also local election happening this Nov. 4.
Tuesday was Election Day in five Miami-Dade cities. Voters in Hialeah, Homestead, Miami, Miami Beach and Surfside all had candidates and referendums on the ballot. Polls closed at 7 p.m., and results are now being tallied.
