A Falcon 9 rocket on the Starlink 12-9 mission carrying 21 Starlink satellites is aiming for liftoff at 1:52 p.m. from Cape Canaveral Space Force Station’s Space Launch Complex 40 during a launch window that runs through 5:37 p.m. Backup windows are available on Saturday beginning at 1:23 p.m.

The company plans to send its Falcon 9 rocket on a mission to deliver 21 new Starlink satellites into low-earth orbit. The satellites are used to expand Starlink’s global high-speed internet network. SpaceX said 13 will have direct-to-cell capabilities.

SpaceX is targeting a Tuesday afternoon launch from Cape Canaveral. The Falcon 9 launch Falcon 9 launch of the Maxar 3 mission is slated to take off at 6:13 p.m. The media could not be loaded, either because the server or network failed or because the format is not supported.

According to the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), the SpaceX Starlink 12-9 mission is set to liftoff during a window which extends from 1:50 p.m. to 6:21 p.m. EST Friday. Liftoff will be from Cape Canaveral's Space Launch Complex 40.
