The New York Jets are once again in the quarterback market. With the two-year Aaron Rodgers experiment having failed and now coming to a close, the Jets will be looking for someone new to take snaps under center.

As the Jets prepare to cut the cord on Aaron Rodgers, they’re looking for a new quarterback. They’ve got two options on the roster. Veteran Tyrod Taylor — who has a career regular-season record of 28-28-1 — is under contract through 2025.

The Giants and Jets have both expressed interest in acquiring the No. 1 overall pick in the 2025 NFL Draft, according to ESPN’s Dan Graziano. The Tennessee Titans, who currently hold the top pick, are reportedly open to trading down, but the price won’t be cheap.

It's a big week for the idea of the New York Jets selecting Shedeur Sanders at the 2025 NFL draft. In his pre-combine mock, ESPN's NFL draft guru Mel Kiper Jr. had Sanders falling to the Jets at No. 7 overall in Round 1. That's the team's top selection.
