President Donald Trump signed an executive order targeting the cost of prescription drugs.Prices will be cut by as much as 80%, and some immediately, he said at a press conference.Trump teased the announcement on Sunday as one of the "most consequential" orders in US history.

The U.S., Trump said, would no longer pay more than "the Nation that pays the lowest price anywhere in the World."

The order Trump is promising will direct the Department of Health and Human Services to tie what Medicare pays for medications administrated in a doctor’s office to the lowest price paid by other countries.
