The Indianapolis Colts publicly apologized to Miami Dolphins wide receiver Tyreek Hill for poking fun at his detainment before the first game of the 2024 season in a since-deleted video unveiling the team’s schedule for this season.

The Colts reached out to Hill's agent Drew Rosenhaus to apologize, but Hill didn't seem to have any problem with the video at all. He took to Twitter/X on Thursday to say that the Colts should have left the video up. Hill thought it was funny. Still, the Colts issued a public apology for the video.

“We removed our schedule release video because it exceeded our rights with Microsoft and included an insensitive clip involving Dolphins wide receiver Tyreek Hill,” the Colts said in a statement obtained by The Athletic’s James Boyd. “We sincerely apologize to Microsoft and Tyreek.”
