The Atlanta Falcons have said they are comfortable with Kirk Cousins as their backup, but the chances of him returning are slim.

In our latest seven-round mock draft, the Falcons trade Kyle Pitts to the Dallas Cowboys and move up three spots to take an ascending edge rusher. Cowboys owner Jerry Jones gives up multiple draft picks for Pitts, allowing Atlanta to save cap space and add some firepower on defense.

Chuck Connor, a personnel executive for the Falcons for more than a decade who helped to build the franchise’s first Super Bowl team, died at the age of 87 in Stone Mountain. He died Jan. 20, according to the family.
