PHOENIX (AZFamily) — A shooting outside an east Phoenix convenience store left a man dead Friday morning. Shortly before 8 a.m., officers were called to a QuikTrip store at 44th and Oak streets, between Thomas and McDowell roads. There, they found a man, later identified as 52-year-old Danny Lyn Kaster, who had been shot at least once.

Shari Sirkin of Stratford, who was killed in a head-on car crash in Oxford on Jan. 8, was a "true original" and a devoted mother, her obituary said.
