The Philadelphia Phillies suffered a frustrating loss against the St. Louis Cardinals on Monday. After winning on Sunday Night Baseball to secure their fourth series victory in a row, the Phillies couldn't cool off the red-hot Cardinals who have now won nine consecutive games.

The second game of a three-game series between the St. Louis Cardinals and Philadelphia Phillies was postponed on Tuesday because of inclement weather. The game will be made up as part of a split day/night doubleheader on Wednesday.

The Phillies postponed Tuesday night’s game against the Cardinals at Citizens Bank Park because of rain. The teams will play a split doubleheader at 1:05 p.m. and 6:15 p.m. ET on Wednesday. Cardinals right-hander Erick Fedde will face Phillies left-hander Jesús Luzardo in Game 1.
