The Dallas Cowboys have finally grabbed their running back in the 2025 NFL draft, selecting Texas trailblazer Jaydon Blue. A speedster and home-run hitter who is a great pass catcher out of the backfield, Blue was reportedly the team's third-highest rated running back in this draft class.

Running back Jaydon Blue was selected in the fifth round, 149th overall, by the Dallas Cowboys on Saturday afternoon. The Houston native is the 14th running back taken in the draft. The junior finished his 2024 season with eight touchdowns and 730 yards on 137 carries, averaging 8.4 yards.
