San Antonio Spurs guard and former UConn Huskies star Stephon Castle has been named the NBA's Rookie of the Year.

After putting together an impressive first season as a pro, Spurs guard Stephon Castle has won the 2025 NBA Rookie of the Year award, the league announced on Tuesday.

Her long road to Minnesota is similar to that of teammate Alanna Smith, who had some stops and starts along the way.
