Minotaurasaurus was a medium-sized ankylosaurid dinosaur that lived during the Late Cretaceous (about 75-71 million years ago) in what is now Mongolia's Djadochta Formation. It was named in 2009 by Clifford and Clark Miles, with the only known species being Minotaurasaurus ramachandrani. This armored herbivore measured around 4.2 meters (14 feet) long and was covered in bony plates (osteoderms) for protection.
