Dave Pearson almost died when he was attacked by a shark on Australia's east coast almost a decade ago, since then he has united hundreds of bite survivors to support each other through the aftermath of an attack through the Bite Club. Pearson still surfs at the same beach a bull shark ripped into his arm in 2011 and told AFP that the club was so important to a group of survivors who can feel isolated and alone in recovery. | AFP News Agency
