While much of Latin America celebrates human labor on Labor Day, the rural town of Otumba, Mexico, used May 1 to celebrate the labor of their hard-working donkeys. Thousands of families turned out to celebrate the Donkey Day festival. The festival included races, polo matches and a costume contest with donkeys.
