🩷 Your Daily Dose of Women’s History… On October 25, 1774, 51 women in Edenton, North Carolina signed the Edenton Resolves, pledging to boycott British goods and publicly support the colony’s non-importation agreements. Led by Penelope Barker, they turned a “tea party” into one of the first recorded political actions by women in America.
