On this dark cloudy day you think that you are gazing at an uninhabited cobble beach, as you pause to take in the scenery. Suddenly the rocks begin to move! Settling into your surroundings, you take in the wonder of a Black Turnstone overturning a rock in its quest for nourishment. Black-bellied Plovers and Western Sandpipers patrol the waters edge, pausing every so often to probe among the rocks with their bills.
