I don't know how many calls I've received for a person having a seizure, usually someone getting up there in age, where we show up and compressions are being performed. When the brain is suddenly deprived of oxygen patients often present with seizure-like activity. It's important that we have a heightened index of suspicion for cardiac arrest with people who have those risk factors so we can act quickly with compressions and defibrillation. #EMS #EMTs #Paramedics #firstresponders #cardiacarrest
