No I’m not saying every single Anglo-Saxon person had West African DNA. - This paper is fascinating for what it tells us about the culture of Early Medieval England and the people who lived within it. Here you have a girl who is buried as a normal regular Anglo-Saxon girl. Nothing abnormal but that face that her paternal grandfather was from West Africa. She tells us so much about her but also the community she lived in. - Yes the words I’ve used here have been chosen specifically so it will get
