Sweet nestling sparrow. This poor baby was found on the ground. Another bird may have attacked him in the nest and/or dropped him. His beak is injured and his abdomen is bruised. This is a sad post but I’m hoping it will help someone in the future. Nestling hummingbirds are silent when all is well. Listen to this baby in the video. If you hear them squeaking repeatedly they are in distress! A woman noticed that mama hummingbird was not around and the babies were squeaking. One baby kept crawling/falling out of the nest. She called a wildlife center for advice. They told her they were fine just keep putting the baby back in the nest. Note: babies that fall repeatedly are
