This morning our Stranding Team relocated a male yearling harbor seal. We have been monitoring this seal, who has been spotted resting on multiple beaches, since last week. The seal was brought into the MMSC for observation. He had been reported to have some blood staining in his fur. Upon examination the source of the blood was discovered to be a mild abrasion underneath his front flipper. Through normal grooming and scratching, he had spread the small amount of blood to his side and head. The
