Earlier this month, the UNT Alumni Association unveiled the newest symbol of tradition and connection — the Ring Statue outside the Alumni Center. For decades, the UNT ring has symbolized the stories, friendships and moments that unite generations of Eagles. The new bronze statue features Scrappy, McConnell Tower and the eternal flame of excellence. This UNT ring tradition continues to grow thanks to alumni support and new endowments that ensure more students can proudly wear their class rings.

Just look at those faces and beautiful rings! Taking a final look back to last week’s Eagle Ring Dive. Pride, accomplishment, happiness, perhaps a sigh of relief plus hope for the future. If you look at their faces, it’s all there. One of UNT’s newest traditions, the Eagle Ring Dive is coupled with the Ring Ceremony and hosted by the UNT Alumni Association at the Onstead Promenade, also known as the Library Mall.
